The City of Kirby has contracted with Tankez Coatings, Inc for the Peppermint Water Storage Tank Rehabilitation Project.  This project is to clean, paint and make repairs to the inside and outside of the tank which is required by the Texas Commission on Environmental Quality (TCEQ).  The total contract amount is $316,000.  Tankez will begin work on Monday, April 27th and substantial completion is expected in 90 days.  During this time, the City will be serviced from our other Water Storage Tank which is more than enough to handle our connections without any issues.    

 San Antonio Constructors (SAC) has begun working on Phase 5 of the Binz Engleman Road Reconstruction Project. Phase 5 is total street reconstruction to include sidewalks and curbs from Crest to James Lovell. SAC will work Monday thru Friday from 7am-5pm excluding City Holidays. NEW WATER BILL PAY BY PHONE SERVICE : Call 833-441-1753 and have your account number ready to pay your water bill by phone.  A $2.50 fee will apply.

Year-Round Watering Restrictions are in effect as of October 2, 2018.  Watering with an irrigation system or sprinkler is allowed any day of the week before 10:00 A.M or after 8:00 P.M.

Weather permitting, Public Works will be sweeping area 5 on Tuesday, May 26, 2020 and ending on Monday, June 1, 2020. The dates are as follows:  May 26th and June 1st. Please refrain from parking in the street from 7:00 .M to 3:30 P.M. on the assigned days.
