The Binz-Engleman project is under way. The traffic set up for phase one is being put up and construction will start this week on Binz-Engleman between Springfield and Alan Shepard. As time progresses we will keep you updated as to when construction will move to the next phase. As of now the dates of phase one are from April 17th to May 24st. Right now the project signs and barricades are being put up and the actual construction is scheduled to start April 19th.
City-wide mosquito spraying. We will be running the sprayer on the 27th and the 28th of April from 10pm to 4am. All streets and allies are passed with the sprayer unless the alley is too saturated. South of Binz-Engleman will be sprayed on the first night and north of Binz-Engleman will be sprayed on the second night. We also throw mosquito tablets in creeks and allies when we can’t drive in with the truck. Public Works throws tablets in creeks when we cut our easements as well. Our next pass will be on June 29th and 30th from 10pm to 4am. We are doing our due diligence to keep the mosquitoes to a minimum.
