CITY OF KIRBY
“TheCity of Kirby, by sealed bid procedure, offers for sale, in its present “as is”condition, on an all cash basis, 0.4974acres of land being situated in the City of Kirby, Bexar County, Texas,including improvements permanently affixed thereto, said 0.4974 acres of landbeing legally described as follows, to-wit:
A certain site comprising the North 137.3 Feet of Lot58, in Block 6, JAENKE SUBDIVISION, in the City of Kirby, Bexar County, Texas,according to map or plat thereof recorded in Vol. 2222, Page 366, Deed and PlatRecords of Bexar County, Texas, said site being more particularly described asfollows:
BEGINNING at an iron pipe on the south line of HedwigStreet at its intersection with the west line of Bauman Street, being theNortheast Corner of said Lot 58;
THENCE with west line of Bauman Street, South 34° 23’East, a distance of 137.3 feet to a point for the Southeast Corner of thisSite;
THENCE South 52° 29’ West, a distance of 110.0 feet toa point on the west line of Lot 58, the Southwest Corner of this site;
THENCE with line between Lots 57 and 58, North 34° 23’West, a distance of 137.3 feet to an iron pipe on the south line of HedwigStreet, being the Northwest Corner of said Lot 58;
THENCE with south line of Hedwig Street, North 52° 29’East, a distance of 110.0 feet to the place of beginning; along with
The East 60 feet of Lot 58, Block 6, JaenkeSubdivision No. 1, County Block 5941, in Bexar County, Texas, according to platrecorded in Volume 2222, Page 366, Plat Records of Bexar County, Texas, andcommonly known as 115 Bauman, Kirby, Texas 78219 (the “Property”),
withsealed bids to be delivered to City of Kirby, Attention: Tim Bolda, CityManager, 112 Bauman, Kirby, Texas 78219 not later than 5:00 p.m. on March 16,2012. The City Council of the City ofKirby shall determine the offer that results in the highest all cash amountbeing timely received by the City of Kirby for the Property but the CityCouncil reserves the right to require the buyer to pay all survey and title insurancecosts and further reserves the right to reject all offers.”

PUBLIC MEETINGS FORTRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM
At the San Antonio-Bexar County Metropolitan PlanningOrganization’s (MPO) recent Call for FY 2013-2016 Transportation ImprovementProgram (TIP) projects, partner agencies requested funding for 73 road,transit, rideshare, bike and pedestrian projects totaling approximately $964million. Since the MPO has only about$50 million, or about 5% of the total to allocate, these projects must beprioritized.
Your input is vital, so please plan to join us for one ofthe five Public Input sessions. See whatroad, transit, rideshare, bicycle and pedestrian projects are proposed forfederal funding and tell us which projects you’d like to see selected.
The city of Kirby submitted three projects: $2.2 million for Ackerman Road, $2.2 millionfor Binz Engleman Road, and $$500,000 for Hike/Bike trail.
The five public input meetings are scheduled as below:

· Central Meeting – 9 to 11 A.M., Saturday,February 18th at VIA Community Room, 1021 San Pedro, San Antonio,Texas
· SE Meeting – 6 to 8 P.M., Tuesday, February 21stat Highlands High School, 3118 Elgin Avenue, San Antonio, Texas

Each session will be Open House style – the same in contentand format and light refreshments will be provided. The MPO will also provide onlineopportunities for the public to review the requested projects on our websiteand permit comment on these items at the public’s convenience.
