Notice is herebygiven that the City Council of the City of Kirby, Texas will conduct a RegularMeeting on Thursday, December 22, 2011 at 7:00 p.m. at 112 Bauman for purposeof considering the following agenda:

Citizens to beheard is for the City Council to receive information on issues that may be ofconcern to the public.    Citizens to beheard is limited to three (3) minutes.  Apurpose of the Open Meetings Act is to insure that the public is always givennotice of the items that will be discussed by the Council.  Should a member of the public bring an itemto the Council for which the subject was not posted on the agenda for themeeting, the Council may receive the information, but cannot act upon it at themeeting.

    c.Discussion/possible action on appointment(s) to the Planning & Zoning 
Commission
d.Discussion/possible action of accepting Resolution No. R-2011-601 appointingJudge Darrell Hunter as associate judge for the City of Kirby Municipal Court
8.  Old Business
    a.Discussion/Possible action on Ordinance No. 2011-715 authorizing the citymanager to enter into a contract with K&P ASSOC. INC., d/b/a SpecializedBilling & Collection Systems of Texas (“Contractor”).  This is the second reading.
    b.Discussion/Possible action on Ordinance No. 2011-716 repealing Ordinance No.O-2006-627 and establishing a fee schedule for emergency medical services.  This is the second reading.
 
9.  Requests andAnnouncements
    a. Requests byMayor and Council Members for items to be placed on future City Council agendasand announcements on city events/community interests
