Elections
| The City of Kirby's General Election is held the
first Saturday in May to elect the mayor and councilmembers
for 2-year terms. Filing for these positions begins in February
and ends in March. Filing requirements are that a candidate
must be a resident of Kirby for twelve months preceding the
election, be eighteen years of age and a qualified voter, and
meet the petition requirements to file. |
